This is at a scale of 1:1, the pots are real terracotta apart from the top element of the upturned pot, as this can swing open. The bricks were all fake, made from pieces of chemiwood, as various holes and fittings had to be made to go through the bricks. The bricks and pots were all dirtied up and lichen painted on. Inside the tall pot there was a cut away showing exposed roots, these were made from thicknesses of fishing twine. The dead leaves in the pot were silk plants that I treated to look dead with a heat gun and spray finish.
